ho ho ho, merry christmas, blah blah blah….

but wreaths do smell nice. I’ll grant them that.

One of the reasons I enjoy “Godspell” so much (besides the great music) is that the lack of any real plot allows each company to interpret it however they like, so no two productions are exactly the same. Our local community theater always does a great job too.

Lately Oliver has been a very active guy and is actually spending time climbing on his branch. That said, I’m pretty sure he was asleep when I took this.  (Snakes have no eyelids and therefore can’t shut their eyes, so it’s hard to be sure.)

The good folks at Hood are lighting the Milk Bottle for the holidays. So naturally, there’s a giant carton of egg nog in the lobby. There is no corresponding giant bottle of rum, however.

Apparently today is World AIDS Day.  Amazing to think that 30 years ago, this disease didn’t exist.

Dinner with friends at a local and very yummy Italian place

When we moved last year, we very quickly started collecting take-out menus. Of course, we hardly ever order take-out, but they’re nice to have when we have friends over for game or movie nights.

In use #4 of Thanksgiving leftovers, Doug made a turkey pie. These are so delicious that he has been known to make them at other times of the year.

This is a game piece for a really fun game called ChickyBoom. The fact that some of the game pieces are purple chickens just makes it that much more entertaining.
