Dinner with friends at a local and very yummy Italian place
When we moved last year, we very quickly started collecting take-out menus. Of course, we hardly ever order take-out, but they’re nice to have when we have friends over for game or movie nights.
In use #4 of Thanksgiving leftovers, Doug made a turkey pie. These are so delicious that he has been known to make them at other times of the year.
This is a game piece for a really fun game called ChickyBoom. The fact that some of the game pieces are purple chickens just makes it that much more entertaining.
I don’t see us having to buy much in the way of groceries this week.
Doug carves the bird while my mom supervises; on the other side of the kitchen, Marla and Sarah dish up the cranberry sauce. Everyone else is drooling at the table.
my cousin Marla took a nap today while her brother and I ran a few errands. Parker provided support and expertise.
in fact, somebody wants to share his donation bucket with whoever wanders by, so he just left it there.
Leave it to Newton to put its Health Department in a quaint historic building.
Doug and I spent some quality time today relaxing on the couch and enjoying our respective books. Just guess who was reading which book.
