home studio

This is the set up I ultimately wound up with while trying to figure out how to film today’s activity for work. The tablet should be on top of the chair…I had just put it where it is to watch what I’d recorded so far.  Keep an eye on my workplace’s Facebook page to see the result.

home office

Doug generally works in the living room, so I’ve taken over the loft.  My tablet is set to play some music, and the notebook is where I can jot down ideas as they come to me.  If you look very very carefully, you can also get a peek of one of the first ideas for a new turtle tank design.

house guest

Every time I go into the guest room, I tell Oliver  “It’s so strange that you’re here, in my house!”  He’s been here before, but only overnight.  Having him for an extended stay is just weird.  At least for me.  I hope he doesn’t mind.

storm damage

Doug and I went for a walk around the local cemetery.  Cemeteries are nice quiet places to walk, with good paths.  I don’t know when this tree came down, but clearly they’ve been working on clearing it, and will presumably upright the fallen grave marker as soon as they can.

gears are turning

Took care of some friends’ kitties this morning.  The friends are artists, and I took a moment to look at one of their workstations.  Couldn’t resist a photo of these beautiful gears.

also couldn’t resist a picture of Dumpling
