All the rhododendron bushes in our yard are showing signs of these lovely purple blooms coming our way.
These UPS trucks are NOT practicing social distancing!
Just like me, Ferrous was pleasantly surprised at the sunny weather today.
I have taken many pictures of the violets that appear in our lawn, but I can’t help myself. I just adore them.
This is the set up I ultimately wound up with while trying to figure out how to film today’s activity for work. The tablet should be on top of the chair…I had just put it where it is to watch what I’d recorded so far. Keep an eye on my workplace’s Facebook page to see the result.
Doug generally works in the living room, so I’ve taken over the loft. My tablet is set to play some music, and the notebook is where I can jot down ideas as they come to me. If you look very very carefully, you can also get a peek of one of the first ideas for a new turtle tank design.
Every time I go into the guest room, I tell Oliver “It’s so strange that you’re here, in my house!” He’s been here before, but only overnight. Having him for an extended stay is just weird. At least for me. I hope he doesn’t mind.
My team had a meeting this morning to go over a bunch of stuff we need to deal with over the coming weeks. We did our best to stay 6 feet from each other, and it was all very strange.
Doug and I went for a walk around the local cemetery. Cemeteries are nice quiet places to walk, with good paths. I don’t know when this tree came down, but clearly they’ve been working on clearing it, and will presumably upright the fallen grave marker as soon as they can.
Took care of some friends’ kitties this morning. The friends are artists, and I took a moment to look at one of their workstations. Couldn’t resist a photo of these beautiful gears.
also couldn’t resist a picture of Dumpling
