I’m having fun with photo editing. Especially for what could have been a very boring picture.

Heading home on the ferry. See you next year, MV!!

On the beach in Menemsha, watching the sun go down is a community event that I’ve wanted to participate in for years. People bring chairs and picnics and just watch. And applaud when it’s over.
There was a bunch of gulls farther down the beach, but I liked the image of this one solitary bird. And yes, the water was really that gorgeous.

I’ve never seen anyone swimming or fishing in it, or even strolling around it. But there it is, a perfectly nice lake.

I had already decided that the theme would be “water” and completely forgot that today is Sunday and the start of a new week. So here is my kind of interesting first “water” pic: my water bottle.

Late this afternoon I realized I hadn’t taken any flower pictures that I was happy with today. Then we went out to dinner, and there they were.
I’m quite pleased with how this turned out.

I think it is a requirement that if you are going to have a house in Oak Bluffs, you must have lots of flowers around.

The tradition is, first night on the Vineyard is to have dinner at Offshore Ale. This pretty flower was just outside. If Google Images can be trusted, it’s a spider flower
.
I always think these are so cheery. And they have very tasty seeds.
