Cut myself on an exposed metal pole the other day, resulting in a perfect semi-circle.   One of the “eyes” is  a mostly natural freckle (I augmented it a bit), the other is totally artificial.   What the picture doesn’t show very well is the nice round bruise making the shape of the face.

Ferrous spent some time relaxing in the kitty tunnel today, with just a bit of his bum sticking out one end.

A lovely day to celebrate the Fourth

It’s not often that I’m in this part of the city, but today our train stopped at the Landsdowne station and was going nowhere;  a train ahead of ours struck and killed someone at the Newtonville stop.  So Doug and I got off the train, grabbed dinner, and took a Lyft home.  Making the best of an unpleasant situation.
