2020 is not off to a good start, library-wise. First, I lose my book list. Then, the library can’t help me retrieve it. Then, while I am sitting at a library computer, working on recreating it, the fire alarm goes off. Luckily, we were only outside 10-15 minutes; I could have gone to wait in my car, but it wasn’t that bad out.

Celebrated Michael’s big birthday with music, friends and of course, cake.
A joint effort among Kris, Doug and Kat resulted in these positively delicious popovers to go with Christmas dinner.
If my friends can geek out over coding and data and the like, I can geek out when Doug finds a lung inside the duck he was prepping to roast.
This is Chip, short for Chipmonk (like monkey? get it?) She’s super cute but apparently she’s kind of a jerk. And she really didn’t want to let go off her ball.
I was having lunch with Brianne today, who is in from out of town, and was looking for an interesting place to go, since I know she’s a foodie. Found the Craft Food Hall Project online, which I never would have found in person since it’s up a hill in an office park. It features two counters: the Sousviderie (burgers, sandwiches and other meals featuring sous vide) and Project X (which serves pizza). My lunch was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the company and conversation. Always good to see good friends after a long time.
The hardest thing about taking this photo was not getting my own reflection in the silver balls (as opposed to silver bells). I think I mostly succeeded.
I guess you can make anything with Legos!
