I appreciated the simplicity of this choice of decorations.  A few pumpkins, some ghosts, and there you are.  I like it.

A lot of creepy skeletons and spiders here (including a giant one whose legs are just peeking in from the left).   The other end of the yard had 3 demonic looking witches standing around a cauldron.

There’s a lot of stuff going on at this house;  the giant skeleton coming out of the ground is pretty great, as is the creepy floating witch.  And the red-robed Grim Reaper at the end is far scarier than his inflatable cousin up the street.

I find the inflatable lawn decorations a bit silly. I get that they’re easier to store, but they collapse overnight and look sad.  And an inflatable Grim Reaper is just not that scary (unless he happened to be at a protest of some kind).

The theme of the week is “Halloween.”
This house always has crazy decorations up, all year round.  The pink flamingos are a year-round resident.

Heading off to today’s protest. And, OK, fine, it’s cardboard.  Close enough.

There is only one person who I write checks to regularly.  Aside from that, I rarely use them anymore.

While the tablet is great for taking a whole bunch of titles on vacation, for most reading, I still prefer to hold an actual book.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I needed to use a paper bag at the grocery store.

As I said previously, I’m not a big fan of plants/flowers that are a nice neat ball, which is how chrysanthemums usually are.   But I do like looking at the individual flowers, especially ones of such a vibrant color.
