Pretty as this is, I wish the blossoms stayed on the tree for longer.

When Doug and I moved to this house, the 2nd floor bath was painted this godawful combination of sponge painted greens with some “antiqued” gold  pain.  It was hideous.  So we painted it yellow, but continued to call it The Green Bathroom.  Now, years later,  the green bathroom is restored to actually being green.

Tonight was the season finale for Bad Movie Nights (Sharktopus vs Whalewolf, followed by To Die is Hard).  I decided it would also be a good opportunity to celebrate my birthday with some friends.  I do love ice cream cake…

These signs are posted all over the Marathon route, and and all the streets that connect to it.   I have to plan my errands on Marathon Mondays because of this.

I have spotted this spider in our (remaining) bathroom every day this week.  That’s fine with me, as long as it’s taking care of any bugs that might appear.

I’m planning something very silly for this Saturday, and it required me to check out a local park.  Spotted this post at a clearly new set of stairs.  Thanks, Paul!

For toothpaste and manual toothbrushes.  Sanded it today, hoping to glaze and fire next time. I am embracing the wonk.

Ferrous and GlowKitty are having a very important conversation.

Painting the closets’ interiors.   Second coat to be applied Sunday.  Then…..we wait.  We can’t paint anything else until the tiles arrive.

A message went out to volunteers this evening asking if anyone was available to pick up a cat at the shelter and bring her to her foster home in Waltham.  That’s the next town over, so I said I’d help.  This poor kitty was found on the street.  She’s young and very pregnant.  She was silent the entire ride; quite the difference from our experience with our boys, who take turns yelling when in the car.
