I know that, essentially, all pasta tastes the same, and the different shapes are meant to go well with different ingredients and sauces.  But I just think some of them are fun to eat.

Green, orange, red.  Yes, I know peppers also come in yellow and purple and probably other things, but this box had three colors.  Which is the theme. 

We went out to dinner and it was such a lovely evening we went over to JP Licks for ice cream.  And saw these cakes.  I love me an ice cream cake.

OK, this first one is kind of a cop-out because I decided on this theme at the last minute.  My plan is to take pictures of either the number 3, or of groups of 3 things that actually naturally happen that way (as opposed to me setting out 3 objects and taking a picture).

Out for a walk today, spotted this little guy bopping around on a leaf.  I don’t know what kind of bug (or what kind of leaf, for that matter), but I’m sure my friend Claire can tell me.

Seeing one all giant like this is a bit creepy.

Gandalf is much more likely to sit still for enough time to allow for a photo like this to be taken.

There was some salt left on the counter when I came downstairs this morning.  Seemed a good subject for “macro week.”

In the book I am reading, each chapter starts with the image of a plane.   Until I looked at this photo, I didn’t really realize that it is made up of tiny dots.

When my haircut was finished,  I stood up and said, “I need to take a picture of my hair.”  And the stylist said “Give me your phone, I’ll take it.”  And I said, “No, not THIS hair” (pointing at my head)  “THIS hair!” (pointing at the floor).
