I have a small carry on suitcase, and Doug has a gianormous suitcase, but neither of us has a decent mid-size bag. We knew we’d need them for Costa Rica, so we bought a couple today, along with a few other things for that trip.

My friend and coworker Bridget has covered one of the windows with kirigami that she created. It wasn’t really my plan to take this picture; I was actually trying to take another one, but the shadows were “ruining” it. Then I realized this would make a much more interesting shot.

The lobby of the Boston Opera House looks how theaters are supposed to look. Grand and a bit imposing and telling you that you are entering someplace special. I always get a bit peeved when I see people dressed all tatty at the theater; I just want to grab them and say “look around you! look at this beautiful place! you could have at least worn something clean!”

the many faces of Curious George
last spring, the museum was hosting a Curious George exhibit. To go along with that, we got special George hand stamps made. Well….give a creative staff access to a stamp and lots of time on their hands, and here’s your results:![]()
