Today a bunch of us brought our friend Jenn out for a treat, to celebrate her soon-to-join-the-world baby. It’s always so nice to get out of the building for an hour and just chat like friends, and not be focused on work. We should do it more often.
We went to this very cool place today (and you should really check this out http://artisansasylum.com/) to meet with a couple guys who are building an exhibit component for us. But first we got the tour, which included this object…you look inside it and there’s some groovy lights and colors going on.
all the doctors’ offices I go to (and there are far too many) have this same little set up.

I don’t take the T from Porter Square very often, so I am always surprised at this very tall escalator. It’s no Wheaton, but it’s still pretty long.
the grand finale of the Great Plastic Dinosaur Misnomer Situation–the company sent me these. While I’m not convinced the color scheme is accurate, at least the triceratops has three horns.
The freezer in my office is gradually being filled with little paper cups of water–right alongside the big bag of mice, a few bags of rats, and some assorted leftover bones from assorted dinners.
had to go to city hall today to get some information about permitting etc for the porch addition we’re hoping to build. why must these things be such a PITA?
Went to an indoor trampoline park today. Never knew such places existed. Also never knew that bouncing around on a trampoline is so freakin’ exhausting! Fun, but exhausing. I am sure I will be sore tomorrow.
