these pillows belong in a Sesame Street scene. they made me giggle.

in a meeting room today, these were sitting on the shelf. kinda freaked out those of us in the meeting.

or nearly empty. by the end of the weekend, we will have reclaimed the dining room. thank god–I’m sick of having 3 rooms’ worth of furniture crammed into the living room.

this arrived in the mail today at work. glad to know some people are raising their kids well.

I bet patriotically decorated cookies are still tasty even when it’s not July 4th.

there were these tasty looking cupcakes-for-grownups and Greg and Jen’s Deck Opening BBQ yesterday. They were good, but with my palate of a 5 year old, I’ll stick to your basic yellow with chocolate frosting, thanks.

another insane free day at work has come and gone. this year, we had a whole bunch of outdoor activities going on, all based around a pirate/nautical theme. so we got this statue. which was pretty cool. it was especially fun to watch kids go up and try to touch it, only to have it turn around slowly and wag a finger at them.
