so it appears that someone was all set to use the gym locker room as her own personal hair color salon, but then decided against it. good choice.

this is what my coworker brought for lunch today. all nicely laid out on a plate for herself. clearly, she’s a believer in “presentation is everything.”

they tend to appear right across the street, which makes for excellent viewing.

box turtles are cool!

this is Strawberry the turtle. our young neighbor is taking care of him for the summer before they both return to the classroom in the fall.

I got into Harvard Square pretty early tonight, so I wandered around. Went to Pinkberry for the first time, which may have been a dangerous thing to do, sat on a wall and read my book….

this is a very cool gecko. see it?

cake is yummy. but reason for cake is sad….my coworker and friend Jenn is leaving us for the wilds of Cincinnati. I will miss her. 

we can eat in the kitchen again! this is our new little eat-in corner. we like it.

I don’t know what normally goes on this table, but the fact that it was lunch made this sign that much funnier.
