I suspect Gandalf is not looking for the salad spinner or the bread machine. I don’t know what he’s looking for.

Doug’s plan is to kill the grass in this stupid little strip between the garage and the fence so he doesn’t have to deal with mowing it, which makes sense to me. so we covered it with leaves. lots of leaves. I don’t see having too much grass there come springtime.

for all that the cats can’t figure out how to share the couch with us, they have no problem sharing the chair with each other.

it has been cold, wet and generally miserable for 2 days. I suspect someone out there is very sad to have left their scarf behind on the train.

sometimes, when you’re cleaning the bubbles exhibit, you like to have your guitar with you.  apparently.

after way too long of hearing/seeing/being otherwise exposed to various political rants, opinions, name-calling and finger-pointing, the day is finally here.  fingers crossed.

I always give in and open up a new tube of toothpaste, while Doug will continue to use the old one and squeeze every bit out of it. this time, for no logical reason, I was determined to outlast him. And I did. Ha! (these are the things that keep a marriage alive, you know.)

Yahzee keeps a close eye on Doug as he updates my dad’s computer.

Mole Day is celebrated on 10/23 from 6:02am to 6:02pm. If you don’t get it, you never took chemistry. 

if you took all the mascara I’ve worn over my entire life and put it all together, it would still  not equal the amount of mascara I wore today.  happy halloween.
