unfortunately, the picture is a little out of focus, but you can still see how cute she is 

a couple weeks ago, a fence appeared around a small section of this plaza.  nothing obvious happened. and then this appeared. 

made a batch tonight. it takes all of 10 minutes.  I haven’t purchased a jar of peanut butter in ages….

Ali serves up Gepetto at the 2nd “AliGiving” festival.  and yes, he climbed into the bowl on his own.

so Doug and I are out to dinner the other night, and he says “when we get home, we need to make the dough.”  and I give him a funny look, cuz I don’t understand why he’s concerned about me making playdough for work. and he says “pizza dough. for dinner.” oh yeah….most people think of dough as something you make to eat….

this tube came out of my arm today. not the dollar–that’s just there for scale. that would be pretty weird, having someone pull a dollar bill out of your arm.  it was weird enough having the tube pulled out.

we had a goodbye party for a coworker today, and since she is a very classy lady, it was a very classy party (them glasses are real plastic, don’tcha know)

so every night for the past couple weeks, Doug gets to inject me with antibiotics. there’s this whole little routine and the nurse recommended laying everything out in order, which works just fine. I’ll still be happy when the IV line is out and all this foolishness is over.

this is one of my favorite things to see:  a book that I have been waiting for and it’s finally here! now I can settle down for some obsessive reading…

today was “Physiology Understanding” Day, aka PhUn Day.  we invited my friend Jason to come in to teach one of his Laughing Yoga classes. it sounds a bit weird, but it’s really fun and you can’t help but feel better after half and hour of silliness and giggles.
