So there were more kids than usual at work today…

I think one of the nicest things about having a birthday is getting real mail    🙂

Second post in a row that features a soft furry critter, this one in our yard.

 

This is Stewart, just emerging from a dust bath in his fish bowl.  Definitely the cutest thing I saw today…

Had to walk down here for a meeting today.  I liked this picture, but it post-processing I used a filter on it that makes it look like it was taken quite a few years ago–it’s a little faded, the colors are a little washed.  The Fish Pier’s been around for 100 years, so I bet it looked a lot like this at some point in time.

Walking down the hall, passed my coworkers Kevin’s office and spotted this.  And thought “Huh.  Kevin has killed someone, and now he’s either being extremely stupid, or extremely clever about the body….”

NOT Duck is just about all packed and ready to go!

This is Zuko.  He is Ferrous’s arch nemesis; when Zuko appears in our yard, Ferrous goes absolutely out of his mind.  Zuko is a very friendly kitty, but I still wish his people would keep him inside.

The violets in the yard seem unaffected by yesterday’s weather, and are determined to welcome spring.
