My parents always told me I’d get ahead someday….  guess they were right. Of course, I also needed a hand.

Ferrous has also been enjoying the PBS series on big cats.  (Photo taken on my tablet, which is why it’s a big grainy.)

I got some takeout out a new ramen place today, and while I was waiting for my order, I sat at the sushi counter.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a picture of all the wonderful drawings a company sent in response to my request for a drawing of a favorite animal.  Well, my coworkers were happy to return the gesture, with drawings of our favorite snacks.  I will put them in the mail later this week.

Voting always feels a bit anticlimactic.  There’s all the debate and discussion and research who and what to vote for.  This go ’round feels particularly essential.   But in the end, in all of 5 minutes or os,  we all go in and fill out our little ovals and nobody’s ovals count  more than anyone else’s.

Went to a Halloween party (that got postponed due to weather) and the decorations were great, including this shower curtain.  Reminded me of the parties John and Wes used to have, back in the day….

One sad lonely piece of candy sitting on the porch steps this morning.  I don’t blame the kid; I don’t like banana flavored candies either.

Sometimes when I sit at my desk, Ferrous gets on the chair and crams himself between me and the back of the chair, forcing me to scoot forward and sit up very straight.  But,  he’s very warm, and also provides a light back massage as he purrs.  So it’s a fair trade-off.

You know it’s windy when the Fort Point Channel is choppy….

Today I came home from work and made red cabbage “juice” for one of tomorrow’s chemistry activities at work.   I know a lot of people come home on Friday afternoon and have a drink.  I did this.
