Doug’s b’day gift to me arrived today, a little late, but no matter. It’s a 3 month subscription to a mail order chocolate club. I will get different chocolates from all over the world! I am amused that one of the bars from the first shipment came from a company that is 25 minutes away (Taza is in Somerville, for those of you unfamiliar with it).

I decided to finally start tossing my college notes. It was an entertaining process, finding notes between me and a friend, my assorted notes to myself (“LEARN THIS!!!!!”) and just flipping through.
This right here is how I passed Organic Chemistry: copying over my notes and color coding them. It must have worked, because I seem to recall I did pretty well in that class.

The witch hazel bush in the yards is showing buds. It looks so completely different from what it will look like in the fall.

So we were commenting on how these toaster oven sheet pans get so dirty in the corners. And Doug said, I wonder if I can burn it off. It was semi-successful on the first one. But then he left the next one on the stove too long, and the pan melted. And in case you’re wondering, aluminum melts at 1220°F.
