We did a button-making activity at work.  One boy made this.

This is one of the shrubs that we planted last year.  I don’t remember what it’s called, but the flowers are lovely.

For our playdate today at work, we worked out the button-making program we’ll be doing for Pride this weekend.   Here’s mine.

Came out of the bank today and saw lots of people gathered on the sidewalk, aiming their phones at something.  So I joined them, but without the general nervousness they seemed to be exhibiting.

When I left work today, I spotted this group of students lined up on the ramp to the sidewalk.  They were waiting for the bus.  While they waited,  they enthusiastically invited people on their way home to run through their raised and joined hands,  cheering all the while.  Of course I participated.

Doug and I sat in our little oasis of a backyard on this perfect perfect day–reading, watching birds, enjoying the breeze, and just being.

I think most of my friends have taken this picture at Bob and Kat’s place at some point.  It’s possible I have also.  But here it is anyway.

To line dry or not to line dry?  That is the question

I love that among the sea of purple flowers, there’s this one plant that has pink ones.

Leah had never had a crepe before!  Tragic.   Luckily, we found this place at Union Market, where Doug and I had never been.  Good food and good fun!
