Lis's Project 365

Every time I drive by this reservoir on a sunny day, there are cormorants on this rock, and I think “Oh, I should take a picture of them” and I never do.  Until today.

There are actually two pictures….Doug helped me settle on this one, but the other is a close runner-up.

 

Almost a year late, Martin’s Park finally opened.  I must admit, it is gorgeous, and I hope Boston families enjoy it and take care of it.

I took a brief intro to sewing workshop today. Not that I plan to get really into sewing, but it’s something we’re doing at work, so I figured I’d better get the hang of it.

Spotted these on the water right in front of the building as I left work today.  I love the colors reflected in the water…looks like a painting.

Staff summer party tonight featured assorted childhood games.  As I was taking this picture, I overheard a few people playing Battleship.

We did a button-making activity at work.  One boy made this.

This is one of the shrubs that we planted last year.  I don’t remember what it’s called, but the flowers are lovely.

For our playdate today at work, we worked out the button-making program we’ll be doing for Pride this weekend.   Here’s mine.

Came out of the bank today and saw lots of people gathered on the sidewalk, aiming their phones at something.  So I joined them, but without the general nervousness they seemed to be exhibiting.
