I went outside to take the bins to the curb, and found a spider had attached her web to the trash bin. I felt terrible about removing it, but I hope she builds another one.
I found this pile of yarn in the resource room at work. It reminded me of the Yip-Yip Muppets on Sesame Street. So I stuck a couple googly eyes on it, like you do.
Elise came to work today, with some other furry friends, as part of the “De-Stress is Best” Fridays the HR department has been running this summer. There was also yoga, snacks, and coloring books. But the dogs were definitely the best part.
I know I’ve posted similar pictures before (but I think mainly of robins), but I haven’t posted anything in over a week. So, better something than more nothing.
A few months ago, my boss applied for a grant from the maker of these plastic building bricks, and won it. So we got $2500 worth of them. That’s a lot of bricks.
I needed to buy chocolate today for cherry dipping and was intrigued by this bar made from the ruby cacao seed, which is naturally pink. It’s definitely got a bit of a berry flavor to it, and I hope it enhances the cherries.
