Lis's Project 365

The theme of the week is “macro” or “really close up.”   These are some Thomcord grapes leftover from a birthday BBQ.  They’re a cross between Thompson and Concord grapes, and very sweet.

Just go with me, here.  OK, no, I wasn’t really at a concert when I took this.  (shocking).  But the original photo was so boring, I had to mess around with the new phone’s  photo editing features.   And isn’t that first photo so much more interesting?

I hang my earrings on this little metal earring tree I got on Etsy.

I like the idea of aluminum bottles for this kind of thing.  Aluminum is more easily recycled.  Plus, the bottles are cute.

There’s a reason why this fork is amusing to me.  It’s not mine.  When I was unpacking from this year’s Vineyard vacation, I discovered I had “stolen” it from the rental house.  Now I need to remember to bring it back next year.
(Last year, Roz went home with a washcloth. So it’s not just me.)

First of all, THIS IS NOT MY CAR.  It’s a car a saw when I was out running errands.  Not good for the owner.  But an interesting look at some of the guts of their car.

The theme of the week is “metal” (Doug’s suggestion).  So here is a standard metal mixing bowl, filled with super yummy cranberry beans that unfortunately lose that pretty color when cooked.

This mobile (which also changes colors) was part of the same raffle basket as yesterday’s photo, with the addition of some colorful fairy lights Doug added to the porch.

We won this in a raffle at a cat shelter event.  It sits on our porch windowsill, and changes colors (which of course doesn’t show in a still photo).  It even spent the week on the railing of our Vineyard rental.  It’s very cute.
