Lis's Project 365

As part of a video project for work, Doug and I made these from crayons and old yucky candles.  They came out pretty fantastic, I must say.

Last week, we got a pomegranate in our Imperfect Foods box.  Not a big one, but not tiny either.  Today, our “grocery angels” brought us a pomegranate as this week’s surprise.  It is giant.  This is all serendipitous, since we actually want to have pomegranate on the Oh-Shit-the-Fruit-Plate.

Finally!  Samuel L Jackson has been in a display case for months and months, and the display was finally changed and he was returned to my office.  So of course, I immediately asked someone to bring him to me at home.  I feel much better now.

Steve is coming over to hang out around the fire pit tonight, so we made brownies.

When I’m too warm at night, I stick my feet out from under the blanket.  Apparently, so does Ferrous. He also sticks out his tail.  Sometimes I do that too.

I always wonder what the kitties think when we are outside, in the Room with the Big Blue Ceiling…

A funny thing to see on a near 80 degree day in November

Yes, it’s another picture of a carrot. Because this is what we do in 2020.

Doug and I were sitting in the living room when we heard someone come onto the porch, and then leave. No bell, nothing.  Seconds later, I got a text. Doug stepped outside and found this box of cupcakes, wondering aloud who had brought them.  I checked the text:  a note from our grocery angel,  saying that this week’s surprise is on the porch.
We are so lucky.

OK, yeah, it’s pretty.  But it’s still THE FUCKING DAY BEFORE HALLOWEEN!!!!!
