Doug and I went for a walk around the local cemetery. Cemeteries are nice quiet places to walk, with good paths. I don’t know when this tree came down, but clearly they’ve been working on clearing it, and will presumably upright the fallen grave marker as soon as they can.
Took care of some friends’ kitties this morning. The friends are artists, and I took a moment to look at one of their workstations. Couldn’t resist a photo of these beautiful gears.

I suspect these bulbs were dug up and reburied by some industrious critter, who then forgot where they were, so now they bloom in the middle of the lawn.
Went to a paint night with Drew. It was his first time doing it, and he was very intense.
I think maybe these folks can take down their XMas Tree sign. Unless they really do still have them, but are gradually turning them into firewood.
They were tearing up the sidewalk outside South Station this morning. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the upcoming construction, or maybe the Big Bad Wolf came by….
Violet is looking much better than the last time you saw her. I am happy to report she is resting comfortably in the garage.
Much of the city’s buildings had disappeared when I left work this afternoon, leaving only this ghostly image floating in the Channel.
Went on a field trip today to the South Shore Natural Science Center to check out their turtle exhibit, as we try to figure out how to create a new one.
