We had an open house to meet our new neighbors and put out some light snacks, including this fruit place. I dipped some of the strawberries in chocolate to make them just a bit decadent.
lots of lights
I had tickets to see Chicago last night with the moms, and I figured I felt OK enough to sit in a theater. It was showing at the new(ish) Hanover Theatre for Performing Arts in Worcester, which I’d never been to. It’s professional theatre without the hassle of getting into Boston. It’s very beautiful inside with big chandeliers like this one; whoever rebuilt it a few years back to a great job.
and by the way, the show was terrific!
lots of fabric
Though far from 100%, I was feeling better today; well enough to get out of the house and do a couple of things I’ve been meaning to do. Like go to the blinds/curtains place up the street and see what they’ve got.
and the answer is…everything. this is about 2/3 of the fabric books the very nice woman at the store brought me.
lots of waiting
lots of degrees
lots of raccoons
OK, maybe three raccoons isn’t technically ” a lot” but it’s more than I usually see on any given morning. This picture is just of the two cubs (or kits); mom had already disappeared into the storm drain. Check out Doug’s page if you want to see a picture of her.
LOTS of herbs
A full five months into this project, and haven’t missed a day yet! But inspiration is getting harder to find, so this week I’m going with a theme. The theme is “lots,” as in “many” or “multiple.” For today, I’ve got a picture of lots and lots of herbs; everything from your basics to stuff you’ve never heard of. Fun, but overwhelming.

where’d it go?
About 30 seconds before I took this picture, I had taken another one in which you could see about 3/4 of this building, which is the third tallest in the city. Now, the building is nearly gone.
Makes me think of Stephen King’s great short story, The Mist. Read the story; don’t see the movie.
