Lis's Project 365

I have had these jeans forever--I’m kind of amazed I can still squeeze into them. I have used them for every paint project for at least 10 years, and I actually try to make sure to get at least one smear of each color on them.

I like that you can see my feet waaay down the end there.

this week I’m playing around with looking at details, picking out one small image from the big picture, as it were.

Today, Doug and I attacked the Green Bathroom–the monstrosity of a paint-job that is our upstairs bath. When we’re done, it will be the same soft yellow as the downstairs bath, but here we’ve just started in with the primer.

One of the most endearing things about Parker is his tail. It is always bent at the tip into that little question-mark shape. If you pull it out, it will just curl back up. It’s very cute.

I know, I know…I’ve already posted a picture of Parker in a box. But you must admit, he is quite adorable.

Why is a kitty in a  sunny window (or sliding glass door) so irresistible?

oh NO….don’t look at me! I’m HIDEOUS!

Parker sprawls on the floor to demonstrate that he is how weak from hunger he is; he must be fed immediately or face certain death.

You wouldn’t think it would be that challenging to get a close-up a blind cat–you just move in close and take your picture. But the problem is that his head is always moving–listening, smelling, feeling.  But eventually, he did stop for a moment and I was able to get photo.

I’m back to themes, and the theme of the week is…Parker! This could actually be more challenging than one might think because even though Parker is always being cute, he’s generally being cute in the same spot. He’s also not the most cooperative subject. But he is a cute one.

And yes, there will be a week of Winnie sometime too.

Doug and I went to the new LL Bean store in Dedham today. There was a search and rescue team there chatting with customers as they came in. Cute pup.
