I got new slippers.  They are warm and comfy and THEY HAVE ARCH SUPPORT. (Good god, how did I get this old???)

Apparently, this is my “what the fuck” face. I wore it today while watching episode 1 of “John Dillermand”, an animated Danish children’s show about the man with the world’s longest penis.

 

Adulting is getting excited about a new laundry hamper

I know many people will find this photo repulsive.  But, as my friend Kris likes to say,  you don’t need to “yuck” on someone else’s “yum.”  When I was a kid, every time we went to my grandparents’ house, my nana would have a tongue sandwich waiting for me.  This sandwich brings back warm memories for me.  Plus, it’s freakin’ delicious.

I got Doug a pasta maker for Christmas, knowing full well I’d be the recipient of the tasty results, like this fettuccine.

I made brownies.  They look delicious.  They smell delicious. (They even sound delicious!  Raise your hand if you get the reference.)  And I can’t wait to have one and see if they taste delicious.

Since springtime, Doug and I have been leaving treats out for the people who deliver things to our house.  And today we got this note.  Merry Christmas to you, Ryan!
