Aside from my 2 recent visits to get vaccinated, I haven’t been to Fenway Park in over 40 years. Barring another pandemic or other disaster, I suspect this will be the last time I set foot.

Ferrous hung out with me for the duration of a movie this afternoon, and then stuck around afterwards. I hated to disturb him but I needed to get up–cuz when you gotta go, you gotta go.
been a while
With their permission (and key) I popped by a friend’s house to pick up something. Haven’t been inside someone else’s house in over a year, so it was very strange; even stranger because no one was home. I wanted to hang out on the porch for a bit, but settled for just taking a photo of this chair.

Doug is once again experimenting with his pasta maker. Tonight, we are having spinach linguine with shrimp. Can’t wait!
anger management
At the advice of my therapist, I bought myself a punching bag to work out frustration. It came empty, with the suggestion that you could fill it with old clothes and things. So I posted on the local Buy Nothing group, wound up with more castoffs than I could use, and stuffed it full.

Rachel gave us this puzzle of Yellowstone. Possibly because she hates us. The majority of the pieces are beige, some with microscopic writing on them. You know you’re in trouble when even putting the edge together is a challenge…
mystery bruise
I often find bruises on myself with no idea where they came from. So leave it to me to get one on the pad of my left pinky finger.

You know what’s weird? This conversation:
“I’m getting my vaccine this afternoon.”
“Oh! Congratulations!”
What a strange thing to be congratulated for. I wonder when it will become routine, like a flu shot.
