This is my mom’s cockatiel, Petey. Or, as she often calls  him, Petey-Wetey. He’s a very happy little guy, funny, and I like him.

so I did not realize until I typed the date for this entry that there was a reason why the line at the Border was so long! Silly me.

it’s kind of alarming that this is not the first picture of a box of hair that I’ve taken at work. maybe even more alarming than my coworker taking a glance at the unlabeled box and exclaiming, “oh! I bet that’s the box of hair!”

Here’s what Parker does: first, he paces around at my feet before finally putting his front paws up on my leg. I usually pat my lap and invite him to hop on, but he will stand here for a couple minutes before deciding what to do. If he hops back down to the floor, he will resume pacing and meowing. He’s very silly.

Even given his orange color, this kitty is well hidden in the grass. If  you’re color-blind, it’s particularly difficult to spot him.

Doug shows off the versatility of his beer hoodie by using it to hold wine. Clearly, Michael also finds this photo-worthy.

Bob, security guy at work, likes to post quotes, poems and trivia on the screen behind the security desk each day. Most mornings, when I enter the building, I’m likely to see a few people looking up at the screen, puzzling out the answer,
