If I had to choose the best question I’ve ever been asked while staffing the desk, it would be a tie:
“Is there anything here for kids to do?”  or “How do we get into the Children’s Museum?”

I is also for “idiot.”

The place up the street from work makes huge sandwiches that no normal person can possibly eat in one sitting. Rey here is holding up just half of one. You’ll note it’s nearly the size of his head, which violates one of the most basic rules of what’ safe to eat.

Exactly none of the pictures of the musician came out even halfway decent, so I’ve cropped this down as much as possible.  Happens.

I just realized that for  E and F I’ve used the same objects that Shel Silverstein did in his not-for-kids classic, Uncle Shelby’s ABZ Book.  I wonder if that’s some kind of subconscious message.

At any rate, these are some coworkers’ fingers. I got them to stick around for 30 seconds after a meeting was over to pose for this shot.

We never buy eggs at the grocery store anymore, as we have become completely spoiled by the superior eggs we get from our CSA.

My brother-in-law and his wife had a Labor Day weekend BBQ today, where I promptly fell in love with their dog. His name is Lucky, and he really is this cute.

I’ve always thought it would be fun to drive around in one of these old classics, but I wouldn’t want to actually own one. Too much trouble. I suppose that would mean driving around in someone else’s, and that would make me nervous, so there goes that idea.

Like many people, we keep a bag of bags. I’m usually pretty good about taking my canvas bags when I go shopping, but sometimes I forget. The bags are useful for lining small trash cans or putting wet clothes/bathing suits in.

I’ve not been feeling very photgraphically inspired lately, so it’s time for a theme! This should get me through most of September. But if I do something worth taking a picture of and it doesn’t fit, I will break from the theme.

For the first 10 years of my life, I was certain these birds were called “stahlings,” thanks to my grandmother’s Boston accent. I also thought there was a town on the Noth Shoah called Mahblehead.
