if I had a super fancy schmacy camera, I could probably have caught this better, but given I have a little weenie camera, I thought this came out pretty fair.

when there’s an alligator in your office, it can be a surprise when you’ve forgotten about it over the weekend.

Taking advantage of this freakish weather* to wash the kitchen rug and let it dry in the sun.

so I went to the hardware store to buy all this pipe insulation and one of the employees said I was smart to get it now and get the pipes taken care of, and I say no, I am actually using it to build roller coasters.  I have similar conversations on a fairly regular basis.

We did a program at work today where we invited kids to match the manmade or “pretend” object with the “real” version of the animal it represented. The fun was in watching people’s reactions when they realized one of the objects was still walking around…

So a few years back, the shop got a bunch of Clue pieces to sell. However, it was deemed inappropriate to sell the particularly violent ones, so they were all removed. Today I came across them.

The suspect was wearing work boots, size 9…

I couldn’t resist the name of this fruit. It looks like a green corn on the cob, only the kernels are hexagonal.  Supposedly tastes kind of pineappley, which means I wouldn’t care for it. 

This is a monkfish. People eat it. Though apparently, they should probably stop. I don’t think I need to start. It’s also known as headfish, because that sounds much more appetizing.

Is that an apple you got there, or are you just happy to see me?
