Remember the gulls that were nesting on the roof at work last year? Well, they’re back! Not sure if this is mom or dad, since they take turns sitting on the nest. I hope to chronicle their time more fully this year since I’ve caught them early.
new family
the end of the world
me and my shadow
after the workout
just lion around
We have borrowed this lion skin from the Harvard MCZ for the summer, as an admittedly tenuous tie-in to the Wizard of Oz exhibit (a not-so-cowardly lion, as it were). The lion itself was named Cliff, and he lived at Franklin Park Zoo before dying of old age. The connection may be lame, but staff is already fascinated with the specimen.
dental care
old friends
olde english hair
There was a troupe of Morris dancers at work today, including this young man, who told me it takes “an hour, plus one friend” to get his hair into this style.
I’m pretty sure that doesn’t include the crane, though.
the sadness of squishy circuits
so a few weeks ago I saw this Ted talk, and it looked awesome and I told two of my coworkers about it and they also thought it looked awesome and we all agreed we had to try this so today we finally did and man, was it disappointing.
