I hate to return from vacation and have a messy desk, so I always clean mine before I go. This time I even cleaned out the junk drawer–that was an adventure.

Got my haircut tonight and then decided to grab some dinner at the famous Johnny’s Luncheonette. It was very delicious, but hellooo! look at my parking space!!!!

it’s been a while since a posted a picture of unfamiliar produce from Russo’s market. This large tuber is a name (NYAH-may) root. It’s just a really big yam.

Greg and Jen got a fire pit, and we all made great use of it last night–some by roasting marshmallows, and some just poking at it with sticks. It was certainly a great night for it.
fishing 101
we’ve got a program going on this summer that teaches kids about the area’s marine life. I really liked this image of all these kids jut hanging at the railing with one of the instructors, fishing and talking bout life.
