Poor Castor Turtle. He’s already annoyed at being out of his tank, but here I am posing him in front of Dr Seuss’s Yertle the Turtle. I have vivid memories of lying on the floor in my room and reading this book when I was little.
In other news, this is my first post with my new camera.
She’s a southern flying squirrel and she’s so freakin’ cute I can’t even stand it. She’s also incredibly soft….softer than a chinchilla. And also really really cute.
got to work today and went to the usual meeting space only to find no one there, except a somewhat creepy plastic baby. it led down the hall, through a trail of other creepy plastic babies, ending in this two. a strange way to start the day.
I don’t know what this object is. It’s sitting on the stairs in the “things to go upstairs” pile. But it looks like some kind of futuristic rabbit. To me, anyway.
My best friend gave these to me on the occasion of our 30th anniversary because, as she put it, “we’re like peanut butter and jelly.” (I think I’m the peanut butter…)
A whole big pile of webkinz. My niece was really into these a year or so ago, but I never really understood what they’re all about. I’m okay with that.
