so I mail-ordered some stuff for the kitties and the package arrived with a large, but broken, dog biscuit inside. we were curious what the boys would make of it, so we tossed it at them, on top of this large piece of cardboard. they were initially very interested in its smell, but then decided that at least the broken-off piece was just another toy.

I got a packet of thank you notes from a class I taught a couple weeks back. they were all adorable, but I especially liked this one: that’s me on the front of the card, with the pieces of foam that the kids will build with (black stripes) and the tupperware containers of building materials (blue boxes), of which there actually are six. also, the row of chairs in the front; they are, in fact, in primary colors.
