dog biscuit

drumstick

so I went to a lunch meeting today and one of my coworkers came in and plunked this giant bone down on the table. “this is yours,” she said. I thanked her. when I finished my lunch of fried chicken, I noted the similarities and differences between the bones. because sometimes work is like that.

thank you very much

I got a packet of thank you notes from a class I taught a couple weeks back.  they were all adorable, but I especially liked this one:  that’s me on the front of the card, with the pieces of foam that the kids will build with (black stripes) and the tupperware containers of building materials (blue boxes), of which there actually are six. also, the row of chairs in the front; they are, in fact, in primary colors.
