we had folks over for dinner the other night, and I was commenting that it’s too bad none of them have ever seen the true nature of our kitties because they are still so shy around strangers. when no one else is here, Gandalf is a total mush, rolling over for his belly to be rubbed and generally being very cute.
had some folks over for a very delicious meal followed by a rousing game of Cards Against Humanity. a lot of wine was consumed.
took a coworker out for lunch today for a “baby shower.” she requested we have dim sum, and who are we to argue with a pregnant lady?
time for one of those blood draws. what with getting allergy shots on regular basis, I’ve developed a pretty good technique for not tensing up when the needle goes in. which isn’t to say I enjoy this process or anything…

no, really….there’s a new shop near work, and it’s called Bee’s Knees. lots of interesting foods, and even I could appreciate this impressive beer selection….
