(I just realized that I had not uploaded any of my Boston pics from the first half of the week. I will correct that, which means some days will have more than one photo. Oh well.)
We took a tour of the Wang Theatre today. I was far more interesting than I thought it would be. The theatre was empty except for some tech crew, so we really got to look all over. Here’s the view of the audience, from the stage, a view I am highly unlikely to ever see again.

Our Air BnB in the financial district was great. Besides being a short walk to pretty much everything, it was also quite lovely, with big windows to let in the light. Bonus, it was on the 7th floor so we heard very little street noise.

We went for a little stroll along the Greenway after dinner tonight. These fountains were splashing on and off as different colors shone the water.
kitten!
I volunteered at “my” shelter’s Open House today. My regular volunteer role is remote, so I had never been to the shelter. Lovely to put faces to the names of people I regularly email with. Oh, and also….cats. Including this little girl, whose name I never did catch. I’m told she is 9 weeks old, and yes that is her adorable little pink tongue poking out.
tip toe
As is our tradition, Kat and I got our toes done during our week on the island. But it was much cooler than usual, so I wasn’t wearing my sandals for most of the week. So every time I take my socks off, I am surprised by the vision of my blue toes.

Our landlord kindly left us some gift cards to local restaurants, including one to the famous Back Door Donuts. We could hardly let that go to waste, now could we?
frog hunt
Spotted this on my morning walk through the MV Campground (the gingerbread houses). The plaque says “How many frogs today?” There were far more frogs than would fit in a decently framed photo.

Checked out a new-to-us restaurant in Vineyard Haven this evening. Our table offered a lovely view of the harbor, including the very large cruise ship off to the side.
under the boardwalk
I did something I almost never do. Went to the beach and hung out reading a book. Normally, I don’t do this to prevent getting overheated and sunburned, but Kat and I scoped out a spot under the pier where we could listen to the ocean and people-watch.
King of Games
A new addition to the walk along the harbor this year. We actually saw a number of people putting them to use, and I had to wait until there were no players to take the picture.
