We had planned to go out for Chinese tonight, but plans changed, so Doug decided to create our own Chinese dinner at home, inlcuding these traditional steamed buns.

So they startes with your basic broom (2nd from right) and when the sport moved indoors, they changed design to the green broom on the far right. The modern broom is on the far left, and the most current version, which is very light, is the blue one in the center.  This is what I learned at work today.

I was teaching a “balls and tracks” program today to a class of 2nd graders, and one of the kids asked if they were allowed to draw blueprints–that was her word,  “blueprints.”  I said sure, and got her a pencil and paper.  Here is her work.

All I can say is, I’m glad this horror show really won’t affect me.
