It was time for a new pair of sneakers, and these were on sale. (If you are familiar with Rykas, you know $50 is a stupid good price.)  They fit fine, as most Rykas do, and they have leopard spots.  😁

The blind woman I work with asked me if I would mind dropping this off at the library.  Since I’m there at least once a week anyway, I said sure.
(Hers is the large on on the bottom, the top one is my copy of the same book for comparison.  Just in case you couldn’t figure that out. 😉)

Gandalf stares at the pantry door, knowing that sooner or later, his food will appear from behind that mysterious door.

Took advantages of today’s warm sunny weather to pay some attention to Bunny, who was desperately in need of being vacuumed and generally cleaned up.  Looks much better now.

The witch hazel bush in the yards is showing buds.  It looks so completely different from what it will look like in the fall.

Daffodils always make me think of sunny days, even if the day isn’t so sunny.

So we were commenting on how these toaster oven sheet pans get so dirty in the corners.  And Doug said, I wonder if I can burn it off.  It was semi-successful on the first one.  But then he left the next one on the stove too long, and the pan melted.  And in case you’re wondering, aluminum melts at 1220°F.

My mom is going to an 80s party in May, and she had to idea what to wear.  So I told her, “We need to get you to the Garment District in Cambridge.”  We went today, it was all pretty hilarious, and I promise I will post a picture of her in the getup she ultimately bought.  Stay tuned.

My neighbor’s lawn has this big scar on it.  The only possible explanation I can think of is that a flying saucer came to a landing in their front yard.  What else could it possibly be?

I guess I know where to go if my bunions get bad enough.
