I have finally declared defeat and put away my warm weather clothes for the season.

The blue inside of this tulip was a surprise to see.

A local organization had a clothing/textile drive today.  The pile of bags and boxes was unbelievable—well over 6 feet high, and 15 feet across maybe? Just piles and piles of stuff.  We contributed 3 shopping bags.

 

I cut open a mini red pepper and found this poor little dude inside…

The new job means I spend a lot of time flicking back and forth between looking a short distance away and looking very close up.  This meant I was constantly taking my glasses on and off.  So, I bit the bullet and got bifocals.  They are progressives and will take some getting used to.  Also, they are purple.

A sea of poinsettias.  And this was just one row!  There were two more just like it.  That’s a whole lot of plants.

In an effort to stop myself from dropping one egg, I managed to drop this one instead.  Dammit.

Found at work today.  And for those who can’t read Kid fluently, allow me to translate:

We made Oreos today!   The Stuff has kind of a caramel flavor to it, which is actually quite tasty.

I found this leaf weeks ago, and have been meaning to take a photo of it ever since.  But I couldn’t decide what kind of photo to take.  Today, inspiration struck.
