I know the Metro’s not a real paper (though it likes to think it is), but this front page still amused me greatly.

An LL Bean raincoat for $7.99?  Why, yes, thank you!  I’ll take it!

Went to the Martha’s Vineyard Mini Maker Faire (which was very Mini indeed), and there was a guy there who makes these beautiful wooden guitars by hand.

My friend Pat recently asked me if I’d ever noticed that the Harvard Lampoon building looks like a character from Thomas the Tank Engine.  And thanks to Pat, now I can never not see that.

Doug and I dug this up yesterday when we were doing yard work.  I’m assuming it’s a cow bone.  I wonder how old it is.

We are celebrating “Star Wars Weekend” at work, so I made these earrings.  I’m quite pleased with how they came out.  The Force must have been with me.

In honor of Star Wars day (May the Fourth),  my coworker baked this very cool cake for everyone.  It was mucho yummy.

It’s just a bill, yes it’s only a bill.
And I made my way up to Beacon Hill.
And then I sat in committee
Yes I sat there to wait
To have my 3 minutes to discuss and debate,
How I don’t think it should be a law.
Other folks might hope that it will
But today, it is still just a bill.

I have a new respiratory therapy device.  It is literally a resistance trainer for the muscles you use when you breathe.   As we have done with other such devices, Doug and I gave this one a catchy name.
