Another Prisma’ed picture, this one taken on the side of Russo’s market.
warmup
Came in from shoveling and had some hot lemon water. I thought this would make a good subject for a Prisma’ed photo.
Beast
This is Beast. He’s one of the most laid-back kitties I’ve ever met. His primary person is in rehab, and his other person is homeless so Beast spends the day keeping him company. On the one hand, it’s easy to think “You know, if you can’t take care of yourself, you shouldn’t have a cat out here.” But I know how much comfort I get from my own kitties, and I’d hate to deprive someone of that. Either way, Beast is clearly well fed, clean, cared for and seems content. As with many issues around homeless people, it’s not as simple as it appears.
big snows
What’s the next unit bigger than a “flake”? Because these aren’t your normal-sized snowflakes!
Daryl
I hope Norman Reedus is pleased with this version of his character on “The Walking Dead.” I know I would be.
new turtles
Here are the two new female spotted turtles. There’s no real sense of scale here, but they are very small and quite cute. We need to come up with names (there’s also a male) and were thinking that their spots look like stars in the night sky, so maybe we should name them for constellations or planets or similar…
amber candy
Yesterday, I posted that my version of working from home is doing things like baking fossil rocks. For my coworker, it’s making amber candy with chocolate “bugs.”
fossil rocks
When most people do work from home, they’re probably online, working remotely. When I work from home, I do things like bake real fossils into artificial rocks.
Not Avenue Q
Went to see this show today. It was at times very funny, also offensive, graphic and bizarre. Not quite what I was expecting, but it was a good performance regardless.
Oni
In observation of the upcoming Japanese holiday of Setsuban, Watson is sporting an oni mask. Behind it, he’s probably wondering what he did to deserve this shit.
