This is Orange Kitty (as Doug and I have cleverly named him).  If Ferrous catches sight of him in the yard, he goes absolutely out of his mind, and Doug and I always praise him for chasing Orange Kitty away (even though he always just wanders off on his own).

Lion dance costumes taking a break in between performances during the Lunar New Year celebration at work today.  Sadly, I missed the performances.

Another Tuesday, another Playdate.  Today we tried another version of printmaking, using crayons, sandpaper and an iron.  We tried a couple methods, and this one was much simpler and more successful.   Next step….wash it, and see what happens.

Yes, Doug and I both have posts of Ernie today.  But how could we not?  This is my mom’s new furry friend.  He’s super cute and very sweet, and extremely chill.  He’s a  good boy.

Not a clear picture at all, but take my word that it’s a pair of eider ducks, and I don’t think  I’ve ever seen them in the Fort Point Channel before.  So I thought it was cool.

Always happy to get together with old work friends, especially at a joyful occasion like a wedding.

And this is why it’s so hard to spot an owl in the wild.

Went to the “Create Curiosity Fair” at WBUR tonight.  Our neighbors the Community Boat Builders were there with this boat that had been made by a class of 5th graders.  This picture looks like a painting, I think.  I didn’t do anything to it, no filters, no Prisma, nothing. It just came out this way.  I like it.

During today’s Playdate at work (yes, I have a weekly meeting called a Playdate), we learned how to make silkscreen prints.  This is my effort. I’m quite pleased with it.
