Went for a nice long walk today and admired the flowers in many of my neighbors’ yards. I guess this bee was also a fan of this one.

I was helping a blind woman out with some things around her apartment, and one of the things she needed was for me to see if I could figure out why she was having trouble with some email and websites.
This is her tablet. The white dots in the front “read” the content of the message, webpage or whatever, and translate it into Braille, which she can then read. The top buttons are what she uses to type in Braille, and then that is translated into written English. The top part flips up to a screen that a sighted person can use.

Volunteered at the Acro-Cats show today https://rockcatsrescue.org/about. In between ushering and helping Miki the cat play the trumpet (click through to see more pictures) , I got to watch the show. Of course, I was all the way in the back, so none of the pics came out very well, but I like this one because it just goes to show, no matter how well you train a cat, sometimes they’re just going to say “to hell with this” and leave the stage.
Yes, that is a chicken. Her name is Cluck Norris. She plays cymbals and tambourine.
Standing by while Miki performs his trumpet solo.
Hanging out with the Rock Cats. (The other cats in the show made up the Jazz Cats.)
Praising Miki for being such a good boy.
Tuna cues the audience.
