I can’t help but wonder who thought it was a good idea to make Christmas lights shaped like the Pillsbury dough boy.

At least they don’t replicate his annoying little giggle.

I have never been any good at making paper dolls. I always seem to fold them wrong. My coworker made these. She’ crafty. I’m not. But I’m OK with that–I got other mad skillz.

After weeks of waiting and several games of phone tag with various mostly non-helpful people, I finally got my flu shot today. After all the drama, it was incredibly anticlimactic. My arm is a wee bit sore. A small price to pay for avoiding The Swine.

For Tess next door (the lighter dog, on the right), this is her first winter. As Doug said, dogs tend to approach new things with joy and excitement. That’s certainly true for these two.

Another critter day at work, and they brought a ferret. I like ferrets: they are very cute and funny. But I wouldn’t want one in my house–they don’t smell so good and pretty much destroy anything they get their little hands on. It’s kind of how I feel about kids.

These are magic bubbles. They’re really cool…they last forever and on any surface. Lots of fun.

went to the dentist today. I’m happy to say my teeth are in excellent health.
