Today we looked at and tasted different fruits in their fresh forms and dried forms. Many children learned the truth about raisins and grapes, and at least one kid discovered that dried apples are really yummy!
Pi Day is this Monday. Since pi as a concept is a bit advanced for most of our visitors, we’ll be celebrating circles instead. I spent part of my morning cutting out these arrows, which will be randomly hung around the building.
Stealing another theme idea, I’ll be posting pictures at 9:00, 11:00 and so on for a week. Today’s picture should not be surprising–I’m on my way to work on the “generally reliable but when it screws up it really screws up” Commuter Rail.
for fear of damaging paint when we need to stick stuff to the walls at work, we only use this painter’s tape, which peels off easily. we just call it Blue Tape.
