Thanks to a freak snowstorm this weekend, hundreds of thousands of people are without power, including Greg and Jen. They came over tonight for a hot meal, a hot shower, and to charge their various devices.

One of the new Hubway bike stations, right near work. It’s a very cool idea, but I have to say that even if I were an experienced and confident cyclist, I don’t know that I’d want to be biking around the city, especially downtown. 

Parker hates it when Doug is in the bathroom. You’d think after all this time, he’d have learned that Doug always comes back out. But he’s a cat. So I guess not.

until very recently, this wall was covered with graffiti. I imagine it won’t be long before it is again.

apparently I was still really sleepy this morning when I took my earrings off their tree. I wore these two completely different earrings all day, and only noticed when I got to the gym and took them off. I wonder if my coworkers thought I was trying to make some kind of weird fashion statement.

As one of the songs from the theater at work says “we eat our fruits and veggies because they have a-peel!”

Walked by Dewey Square today, which is currently the home base of Occupy Boston. It’s a lot of people, and remarkably well organized. I wonder, though, if they really know exactly what it is that they want. 

In the battle between the gigantic squirrel and the demon beaver, who will reign supreme????

Frozen in fear, the ostrich is unable to summon the strength for one kick against the squirrel’s vicious claws!

if a squirrel and a penguin ever found themselves in the same place at the same time, I can only hope it would look something like this.
