there’s a project going on at work which involves cataloging a lot of collections objects from the East Asia program. they’ve got this very professional looking arrangement for taking the photos–all very impressive.
it just sat on this broken stool in the back hallway for a good part of the afternoon. no one knows who put it there, and no one ever ate it. in the end, it wound up in the trash.
in February. Last week I took a picture of the daffodils, and today it’s these crocuses in full bloom. At least we won’t have to guess their locations when we need to dig them up and move them in April.
There was a ridiculous amount of sweet stuff in the lunch room today–cakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecake, cupcakes–you name it. I brought an apple with my lunch today, and I don’t know who I thought I was fooling with that.
In spite of the rather alarming smoke pouring out of the oven when it was first turned on, in the end, the brownies came out quite tasty. As happens, the first one got broken up in the removal from the pan. For the good of all, I was forced to eat the evidence.
