goodbye sink and magic box,
yes, I went to the movie theater. and yes, it didn’t take long at all for me to remember why I’d stopped. but The Hunger Games was pretty darn good, and I enjoyed it. But I think it will be a while before I’m back at a movie theater.
last week these pallets were covered with trays of spring flowers. now that March has reclaimed its rightful place on the calendar, they’ve been removed. I assume to someplace warmer.
our dining room and sunroom. in a few weeks, the sunroom will be gone….
Doug was very busy today; got almost all of the kitchen packed up and/or moved to the basement. It’s Plastic Plate City for us for the next couple months at least…
given the condition of this toaster oven, this warning may come in handy any day now.
this is a cool trick: stick an egg in vinegar for a few days and the shell will dissolve. but you’ll still have a raw egg. but I only wanted to remove the shell from half the egg. so I stuck it in a funnel in a jar and filled it with vinegar. sometimes I am amazed at my own cleverness.
started to bloom today. yep, they’re early. at least they waited til it’s officially spring.
I loved the juxtaposition of my coworker’s sassy pink boots among all the business-casual neutrals.
this is the countertop. it has various stains on it from over the weekend. I don’t really care. in fact, I’m taking a certain pleasure in not cleaning it up because I know that 2 weeks from now this dreadful counter will be gone forever.
