Most people know that I am not a winter person.  I don’t like being cold, or how short the days are, or that snowstorms can seriously mess up your plans.  One of the other things I like about summer, though,  are the yummy fruits that are in season.  Mmmmmm!

Every year on the Vineyard, Kat and I go and get pedicures together.  And every year, I don’t remove the polish, just to see how long it will last.  Last/this year, none of the polish actually chipped off; it all just grew out.  Here’s all that remains.

The hydrangeas in our yard are putting on quite a show so far this year.  This one is normally all bright pink, like you see in the back, but this year it is also giving us some gorgeous purple blooms.
(just realized this is the 7th time I’ve posted photos of a hydrangea, but they’re just so darn pretty.)

Why yes, Lamborghini owner, of course you can park in the bike lane.  Or wherever you want, really.  After all, you own a Lamborghini and are therefore not subject to the laws that apply to us peasants.

Haven’t been to the science museum in quite a while, but tonight we were there particularly to see “The David Bowie Experience” in the planetarium. It was pretty trippy.

Neither Doug nor I had ever been to the famous Union Oyster House before, so we decided we needed to try it.  Not so much because it’s supposed to be amazing (which isn’t too say, it was pretty freakin’ tasty) but more because it is a Boston institution that we’d never experienced.

Saw Blue Man Group for the first time since….2006? Anyway, it’s been a while.  They’ve changed up the show quite a bit but still included some of my favorite bits.  It was an incredibly fantastic performance.  So much fun.

It seems that when this princess kissed the frog, she herself was turned into a frog.   I guess that’s what happens when you wear far too much lipstick, so let that be a lesson to you.

I spotted this sign and thought it was cute, but then I noticed the bit of writing at the bottom, and decided it was also funny.  And very inclusive. Except for vegetarians, I guess…

This is Archie.  He came to a BBQ at Bob and Kat’s.  He seems quite content here, with his head on his mama’s lap.  Good boy.
