the kitchen is 95% finished.  except for this one corner, where a lonely bare lightbulb hangs, awaiting the fixture that will give it purpose.

ladies and gentlemen, I bring you….Oblivious Man. when searching for an Oblivious Man in its natural state, one should look in front of buffet tables, at the top or bottom of a staircase or in front of a door, as in this case.

sometimes even I am amused at the assortment of items that collects on my work table over the course of a day

all the leftover lumber, bags of trash and other stuff in this pile appear to be a great place to play, if you’re a chipmunk.

another therapy dog day at work. this is Takoda. working hard. 

so I suppose if we really wanted to, we could all the silverware away this weekend without actually opening the drawer. but this is our last chance, because the counter is coming on Monday!!!

the new sunroom is finally looking more like a room and less like a deck. or just a bare patch on the ground. I am amused to see that the flowers are still there.

such a fancy word for a board full of cured meat.  pig meat, in this case. which makes sense, because we had our meal at The Salty Pig in Back Bay.  With Nancy! which made it even better.
