Kat and I spent some time at the beach by the ferry dock. Much like the legendary “Jaws Bridge”, it is a popular place to climb up and jump into the water.
We’ve all seen movies with the creepy hatch in the floor. Any idiot knows it’s a bad idea to open it. So we didn’t open this one in the bathroom of our rental house.
I confess to not being a huge fan of spiders inside my house. (I mean, I know they’re there, but it’s OK as long as I don’t have to see them.) That said, I do admit that they are fascinating creatures. This one on our front porch was very busy.
(Finally getting around to posting my Vineyard pics.)
The “pirate sail” that goes out of the harbor usually heads farther out. It was so windy today, the just sort of tottled around the harbor instead.
This is (I think) a Bluebeard. We planted it shortly after we moved, then had to move it when we put the porch on, then had to move it again when the porch was done. In spite of all that being dug up and replanted multiple times, this plant has thrived. Hence…lazarus bush.
OK, I know there’s been Halloween stuff out for a few weeks (which is totally ridiculous). But do they really need to have this many Halloween greeting cards??? Who buys those (beside grandparents)?
