Don’t know what point Kat is trying to make here, but clearly, she is making one.
This struck me funny. I could only picture someone standing off to the side, giving constructive criticism after a chair squeaked a bit when someone sat down.

At the library today, the book drops were blocked off, as the library is installing a new return system. I will be curious to see how it goes over. I suspect some people will be baffled by it, and that at certain times it will really slow down the whole process. But it still sounds cool.

OK, it’s not really a secret. I’ve just never noticed this before because I rarely use this trash can. But apparently, this is how Doug gets rid of the stickers on produce. And since we rarely replace that trash bag (just dump its contents into another bag), the sticker collection grows…

I am fairly certain this is an eastern milk snake. Seen at Cutler Park on the southern edge of Newton this afternoon.
